• My skin is very prone to breakouts and spots, are these products OK for my skin type?

Every ingredient in our products has been especially selected to be non-comedogenic (pore clogging), and many people who have a similar skin profile to yours report that they do not get break outs when using Evonatural products. It would be advised that you start with the non scented moisturiser. Please let me know how you get on if you do decide to go ahead! Emma.

  • I have some problem areas of skin on my face where it gets itchy and dry, my chin area is particularly bad. I have tried everything, you name it - would EvoNatural products work for me?

Possibly using so many products is too much for your skin. if you are already suffering from sore or dry skin areas, then I would suggest our unscented moisturiser, again, it contains no irritants and only plant extracted ingredients that sooth and work in harmony with your skin. Almost all over the counter moisturisers are made from mineral (read petrochemical) oil - this is actually the surplus from the petrol/diesel/aviation fuel industry, the molecular structure of which does not sit well with most skin types and can clog the pores thus causing irritation. This starts a vicious cycle of over exfoliation and cleansing using alcohol based cleansers, which are drying for your skin, your skin then reacts by producing more sebum to cope with the perceived 'attack', and so the cycle continues. Lets simplify things. Start by gently cleansing with just an unscented soap bar, or very gentle SLS free cleanser and luke-warm water to rinse. Follow this for a few days with just the unscented moisturiser. That's it. Leave it alone to recover! I would recommend doing that routine for 10-14 days. Once your skin had got better, and got its natural balance back? You may wish to introduce the toner or serum on some days, between cleansing and moisturising.

  • Why do I need a separate serum as well as a moisturiser?

It is not imperative that you use the serum as well, it is perfectly fine to just use the moisturiser as you normally would following your usual cleanse or cleanse tone. The serum has a higher quotient of Hyaluronic Acid as well as Vitamin C in amounts which would render a moisturising cream unstable (adding the amounts within the serum would cause the ingredients in the cream to separate). It is possible that the serum could last quite a long time - many months, if used sparingly rather than every day, though it is perfectly safe to use daily as well.

  • Are these products only for problem skin types or can anyone use them?

They are for anyone to use. They are made from the highest quality ingredients, made simply to nourish and care for your skin, it is suitable for all skin types, made with gentle non irritating ingredients.
